SENIOR LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Position Overview
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the above mentioned vacancy in the Quality Assurance Division of Harare Water Department.
Job Purpose
Responsible for carrying out analysis of water and wastewater, supervision and performance management
Key Performance Areas
• Sample Collection
• Carryout analysis of water, waste water and trade effluent samples
• Supervision and performance management.
• Carries out quality control checks.
• Reconciles data from Technicians.
• Implementation of ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Management System.
Qualifications and Experience
• Higher National Diploma in Laboratory Science Technology/Chemistry/Biology.
• At least three (3) years relevant experience.
• Clean Class 4 Drivers Licence.

• Organisational Commitment.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices, ISO 17025 QMS is an added advantage.
