Commercial Business Licensing Overview
All commercial, industrial, and retail operations within the City of Harare jurisdiction require a valid Municipal Business License issued by the City Health & Finance Departments.
Licensing Requirements
- Certificate of Incorporation or Company Registration Documents
- Valid Health & Hygiene Inspection Clearance Certificate
- Approved Town Planning Land-Use Certificate
- Proof of Property Ownership or Lease Agreement
Annual Renewal Deadline
Business licenses are renewable annually by 31st December. Early renewal avoids late processing surcharges.
