Council has released largely unchanged business and small to medium licenses and registration fees for the year 2023 with some tariffs reduced.
Council has released largely unchanged business and small to medium licenses and registration fees for the year 2023 with some tariffs reduced. Fees for Mupedzanhamo A and B remain unchanged at US$200. Mupedzanhamo Curios stands have been reduced from US$50 to US$25 per month. Farmer's daily markets tariffs for Mbare Musika were reduced from US$16 to US$10, Lusaka Markets remain at US$8. New business license for 2023 season shows there is a reduction in tariffs for Mabvuku, Matoko, Mbare Wholesale Market, Mbare Retail, open air markets and vegetables markets as compared to 2022 season. Overnight guarded car parks have been reduced from 30 cents to 15 cents per square metre. Grinding meals on council property were reduced from US$200 to US$50. Tariffs for newspaper vendors per month have slightly risen from last year’s US$16 to US$20. Mukuvisi business and food court tariffs per month for individual have reduced from US$60 to US$50. Home industries (per square unit meter) have also been reduced by 50 percent from last year’s US$2 to US$1. Tariffs for parking of heavy trucks are now US$3 and light vehicles US$1. Canteen fees have been reduced from US$132 to US$50. Mobile kitchen fees were reduced from US$70 to US$50. Ecocash booth tariffs have been raised from US$12 to US$50 and Airtime booth reduced from US$120 to US$10. Liquid Petroleum gas tanks for company, four tanks per month will pay US$216. The fee for liquid petroleum for individual three tanks remains at US$50. Pool table, car wash and tombstone penalty tariffs have been reduced from US$50 to US$25, from US$120 to US$30 and US$154 to US$100 respectively. Auction tariffs have been reduced from US$480 to US$50.
