The school--- Budiriro 7 is now open.
Located near Current shopping centre, the school is the first to serve Budiriro 5 extension and Cabs community.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Head Education and Social Services Mrs Lizzie Muchena said Council is now waiting for Government to finalize the administration processes for enrolment to start.
The eight classroom blocks will house ECD classes up to Grade 7 with one class per grade.
The project was completed in record 24 months.
Royal Comfort Director, Patricia Tshuma praised the cordial relationship with the City.
The event was graced by the ward Cllr Blessing Duma, Acting Director of Works Engineer Norman Karidza, Acting Housing and Community Services director Mr Sithole, council officials, Royal Comfort officials as well as residents representatives.
